Stewed Fruit

  • 4 Peaches, peeled, sliced
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ teaspoon arrow root or agar-agar
  • Dash of cinnamon, dash of nutmeg (optional)
  • Place peaches and water in pan, simmer until soft
  • Mash Slightly with fork, add cinnamon, and nutmeg
  • Mix arrowroot or afar-agar in 3 tablespoons of juice, add to pan. Simmer a few minutes, stirring. Serve warm or cold

Note:
- Any fruit or combination of fruits may be used
