Stewed Fruit
- 4 Peaches, peeled, sliced
- ½ cup water
- ½ teaspoon arrow root or agar-agar
- Dash of cinnamon, dash of nutmeg (optional)
- Place peaches and water in pan, simmer until soft
- Mash Slightly with fork, add cinnamon, and nutmeg
- Mix arrowroot or afar-agar in 3 tablespoons of juice, add to pan. Simmer a few minutes, stirring. Serve warm or cold

- Any fruit or combination of fruits may be used
